Pre-Weld Surface Preparation

Prepare metal surfaces for welding without grinding, blasting, or hazardous chemicals.

Application Steps

1Remove loose/heavy rust, excess oil and debris with wire brush
2Apply PICKLEX®20 with brush, roller, or spray
3Wipe off the excess Picklex 20
4Heat Dry the coating with the welding torch
5Weld

Paint Surface Preparation

Create the ideal surface for paint adhesion in one simple application.

Application Steps

1Remove loose/heavy rust, excess oil and debris
2Apply PICKLEX®20 as Heavy mist to soak up to the metal surface (mill scale does not have to be removed)
3In about a minute, remove the excess Picklex 20 completely down to the metal surface
4Air Dry (allow few hours for complete drying)
5Prime, Paint etc. The coating will protect years of rust protection, when kept indoors
